After popular cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Gold Coast, the world-renowned night walk experience Astra Lumina arrives in İstanbul, the magical city where continents meet. Astra Lumina İstanbul, the ongoing seventh stop in the global series and the very first location in Europe, started to welcome its visitors in July 2025.

There’s no need to travel far to join this night walk that starts after the sun sets and once the stars appear in the sky. Astra Lumina opens its illuminated path in the heart of the city, inside İstanbul Light Park, located within the Maslak forest. Right next to Turkcell Platinum Park and just a short walk from Vadi Istanbul, this new celestial garden offers not only a unique immersive experience but also a peaceful retreat in one of the most crowded spots in the city.

The journey takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes, along a 1.1 km path with 9 celestial stops. Each stop tells part of the story over the course of 3 to 4 minutes.

However, for safety reasons, we may reschedule in the presence of strong weather conditions that could prevent walking, such as heavy rain or storms. In such cases, your tickets will be exchanged for another date.

To fully enjoy the experience, we recommend you come prepared for the weather conditions. For rainy days, consider bringing a light raincoat, or a jacket for cool evenings.

You can reach İstanbul Light Park using the 41SM bus line at scheduled times. Please check the timetable before your visit. From the Seyrantepe Metro Station, take the Havaray to Vadistanbul and continue to the experience area using the İstanbul Light Park shuttles or by taxi—just a 3-minute ride.

For visitors arriving by car, we offer a secure parking area with a 300-vehicle capacity and valet service.

Astra Lumina İstanbul is a night walk experience for all ages. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note that the trail allows for one-way walking only. You should not deviate from the walking route and must follow all directions. As this is an outdoor experience in a forest area, you must refrain from any behavior that could harm the forest. Otherwise, legal sanctions will be applied.

We kindly remind you that there are stair areas along the trail, which may cause difficulties for the use of strollers, scooters, wheelchairs, etc.

The use of tobacco and tobacco products (including electronic products) is not permitted along the trail. To preserve the magical atmosphere of the experience, we also kindly ask you not to eat or drink anything within the route. Please note there are no restrooms along the route.

We recommend that participants wear comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather and walking through a natural environment. The experience area is regularly treated to keep away insects and harmful pests. However, since the event takes place in a forested area, we also suggest taking your own personal precautions.
